Function
Used in conjunction with various top substrates for fuel tank straps and gas tank pads to avoid friction and secure tank in place.
Put-up
Provided in self-wound rolls with a water-based acrylic adhesive. Available in black only.
Materials
V1500 series, automotive approved foam tape uses an acrylic adhesive that provides a secure bond and retains durability and compression recovery through repeated or long-term use. Inherent fire retardency and UV (ultra-violet light) resistance makes it a superior choice of automotive tape.
Application
Self stick automotive tape has an easy to peel liner. Simply unwind to expose the adhesive side and apply pressure to stick it on. Acrylic adhesive can take up to 72 hours to reach its maximum bond.
